Kelechi Iheanacho
With the likely signings of Arnautovic and Hernandez are people happier now with Bilic's decision to not finalise the Iheanacho deal?

Vexed, what if the plan is, we can't quite get the younger prospect as they are in high demand, so we'll buy quality ageing players now but invest in even younger prospects like Holland, Quina, Martinez etc in the hope they come through as the ageing ones are getting past it?

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
I'm not really sure why City are even willing to listen to offers for him.

Must be on relatively low wages (for them), and they only have Jesus and Aguero in addition to him don't they? So he'll likely play 20odd games next season with all their commitments.

If he does prove to be available for 15m tho, it wouldn't surprise me if we came back in for him. DS eyes would light up at that figure

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
I never worry about the sell on value of a player we are about to buy. It is all about quality and improving the squad. Redknapp, for all his faults, was a master in the transfer market of buying players who were better than the players we currently had in whatever position. If you follow that principle your team will only get better. For me, Arnautovic is a perfect example. He has pace, is proven in the PL league and has an eye for goal. The big plus is that as soon as we made it clear we wanted him he busted a gut to come. I want players who want to play for us which is why as sad as it was that Payet was sold it was the right thing to do. He made it clear he did not want to play for us so see ya later. If we get Arnie and Hernandez then they are great signings for us. More of the same please. Iheanacho obviously was not too fussed about coming so f**k him.

You won't. Because moaners only moan. They never offer praise or positivity. So when there's nothing to moan about they disappear.

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
Bilic and Dave's were either very shrewd and played the market superbly.

Or, the deal feel through and they never knew whether Marko or Pea were coming and got lucky.

Either way I couldn't give a monkeys cunt. I am happy.

15K Sydney?? - That is cheap

Sydney_Iron 8:31 Fri Jul 21
Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
So we decide not to sign him for 25K as the deal (and possibly the player) stinks causing mass outrage from some on here who demand we just pay up, and now he is MAYBE off to Leicester for 15K!

Looks like city were taking the piss? And Leicester doesn’t seem to be in a hurry either…………maybe they want a decent wedge should there be a buy back and he’s as good as they say, which personally im starting to doubt if the price has suddenly dropped and the rumours that Zabaleta bent Slavs ear to maybe give this one a miss have any truth to them.

Why hasn't he signed for Leicester yet?
Is Shakespeare deciding whether the transfer is to be or not to be?

Vexed 12:14 Fri Jul 21
Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
I think our signings are adequate, but would have preferred Iheanacho as he's at a good age. There's not much value in the other two if we decide we want to sell them, which is not the way to go if you want to move forward as a club.

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
Talk that he will go for 15m plus add ons when he goes to Leicester.

i will be happier if we also sign someone with pace and creativity.

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho
Yes. And I think this transfer window is working out pretty nicely at the moment as well.

They've signed some very good players.
